In the academic year 2002-2003 I taught 2nd year "English for the Web" and "Italian as L2 and International Relations". Students were required to reach Level B2 as described in the Common European Framework parameters. We reached this level by discussing the following topics.

The topics were:

— Education

— National Customs

— Society and social life

— Village and city life

— Childhood experiences

— Diet

This academic year (2005-2006) I again teach 2nd year "English for the Web". Students will be expected to reach Level B2 as described in the Common European Framework and will be tested at the exam with a discussion of one or more of the following topics.

The topics are:

— Village and city life (home and places)

— Travelling and Tourism

— Education

— National Customs

— Environmental issues

— Cinema and theatre

— Trade, business, money

— Society and social life

— The press and the media

— ICT language and terminology
